OUR JOURNEY
From a Small Workshop to a National Medical Education Platform
What started as a single hands-on course in 2019 under MyMedikal Healthcare has grown into a nationwide initiative — now known as MyMedik Academy. Here’s how we built a trusted name in practical medical training.
2019
The Beginning
Our journey began in April 2019 with the Pre-HOPE Course, a physical workshop under MyMedikal Healthcare attended by 100 pre-houseman students. That same year, we hosted Cyberjaya Surgical Update, a national-level surgical conference for doctors.
These events revealed one truth: Malaysia needed more practical, skills-based training to prepare future healthcare workers.
Later that year, we launched Cyberjaya Surgical Update (CSU), a national-level conference attended by 50 doctors. It marked our entry into serious surgical education, bridging academic knowledge with real clinical insight.
2020
From Workshops to a Mission
In 2020, we conducted our first hands-on circumcision workshop using real patients, followed by a series of surgical and simulation-based classes. Despite the pandemic, we launched the Surgical Pre-HOPE Workshop and hosted the first Malaysian International Circumcision Conference (MICC) in hybrid format.
Later that year, the idea for MyMedik Academy was born — a doctor-led platform focused on real-world training.

2021–2022
Structure, Systems & Scale
Our founding team grew. We introduced monthly workshops, created SOPs, and launched online classes. Every event followed a system — from onboarding to post-certification — ensuring a consistent, high-quality learning experience.
This was the period where MyMedik Academy transformed from manual to scalable, setting the stage for exponential growth.

2023–2025
Professional Era & International Impact
By 2023, our workshops became CPD-certified and our team fully professionalized. Doctors, clinics, and institutions began to trust us for continuous learning.
In 2024, we launched international outreach through Sunathon missions, upgraded our tech systems (online portal, payments), and created a full medical education ecosystem.
Now in 2025, we’re focused on scaling the movement — combining certified learning, AI tools, and regional outreach into a single, powerful academy.

founder and cEO
Prof dr salleh
Prof Dr Salleh is an award-winning surgeon, university lecturer, and the founder of MyMedik Academy. With years of experience in both clinical practice and academic leadership, he built this platform to bridge the gap between medical theory and real-world practice — especially during the critical phase of housemanship.
He is also the innovator behind the Solehring circumcision technique, which has been recognized both locally and internationally for its effectiveness and safety. Prof Dr Salleh continues to lead training programs across Malaysia and abroad, with a mission to empower the next generation of confident, competent doctors.
